He has announced his abrupt retirement from the National Football League.
Moss’ agent,Joel Segal, said the 34-year-old wide receiver decided to turn downs offers from various teams before making his decision to retire.
"Randy has weighed his options and considered the offer and decided to retire," Mr. Segal.
Way back, Moss career began with seven electric seasons with the Minnesota Vikings before going dormant for two years in Oakland. He reappeared as a force with the New England Patriots in 2007, pulling in a single season of 23 TD passes helping the Patriots to the Super Bowl.

Moss was traded to the Vikings back in October last season, but the famous reunion lasted only four weeks. Fed up with his irascible behavior, Vikings coach Brad Childress cut Moss in November, a move that played a unique role in the dismissal of the coach a few weeks later.
Moss finished the season with eight games in Tennessee, but made little impact with the Titans. Segal said earlier this summer that the pipe has been training hard and determined to prove to skeptics that he could still dominate the game as he had in the past.
"Randy was a great player for a long time," said Bob Pruett, college coaches Moss' in Marshall. "He chose his words and I think it's good. If she wants to do this, you have to do."
